904L super austenitic stainless steel belongs to low carbon, high nickel, molybdenum austenitic stainless steel with acid resistance. It has good activation-passivation transformation ability and excellent corrosion resistance. It has good corrosion resistance in non-oxidizing acids such as sulphuric acid, acetic acid, formic acid and phosphoric acid. It also has good pitting resistance in neutral chloride-containing medium. Good crack corrosion resistance and stress corrosion resistance. Suitable for sulfuric acid of various concentration below 70 C. It also has good corrosion resistance in acetic acid of any concentration and temperature under atmospheric pressure and mixed acid of formic acid and acetic acid.

904L super austenitic stainless steel bar technology and performance:
Like other commonly used Cr-Ni austenitic steels, it has good cold and hot working properties.
When hot forging, the maximum heating temperature can reach 1180 C, and the minimum stop forging temperature is not less than 900 C.
The hot forming of this steel can be carried out at 1000-1150 C.
The heat treatment process of the steel is 1100 - 1150 C, which is rapidly cooled after heating.
