Chanson Metals produce ASTM A582 stainless steel free cutting round bar and rod with various sizes and grades.
The 303 stainless steel bar is easier to cut than 304 by adding a small amount of sulfur and phosphorus, other properties are similar to 304. The 303 stainless steel bar includes a free-cutting stainless steel rod containing sulfur and selenium for applications requiring high cutting and high surface finish. 303 stainless steel improves cutting performance and high temperature bonding resistance, it's a ideal material for automatic lathes, especially bolts and nuts.
416 is a martensitic stainless steel, and is also the best steel in the stainless steel. The 416 is mainly used for automatic lathes.
430F stainless steel is a grade that adding sulphur to 430 stainless steel to achieve easy cutting performance. It can be used in automatic lathes, bolts and nuts.
